…I sometimes wonder what evolution has done to produce man

Honestly, I’m amazed every time that there is such a wide variety of life on earth. Every creature was adapted to some particular conditions until man came along and subjugated nature and changed its laws, created his own habitat with his own laws and conditions. How is it that man became the most advanced life form on earth? Why did we get the consciousness in the first place? Anyway, I love observing and photographing nature’s experiments.

And I’ve also thought about how fragile any living creature is, and how easy it can be to cut its life short. Like an extremely fragile clockwork that can be disturbed by even a grain of sand. Why at some point evolution came up with such complex mechanisms and things didn’t stay at the level of something even without a cell nucleus?
